The Road to a #MeMade Wardrobe: McCalls 7562
I recently got rid of a dress that I’d made years ago because it had gotten pretty pilly. I loved that dress because it was like wearing a nightgown. I’ve been without it for maybe 2 months and just had to make another one.
Pattern: Misses' Pullover Dresses with Sleeve Ties, Pocket Variations, and Belt
Fabric: BSP2075 from AKN Fabrics
Style: Dress
Vintage/Contemporary: Contemporary
Pattern Edits:
1. I added a curve to the hemline because my husband requested he see a little more leg.
2. I am contemplating using a premade bias tape around the collar because I really don’t like how the collar lays. But I’ll hold on that because I want to see how it settles and wears first.
Lessons Learned:
1. No lessons here really.
This was a pretty straight forward pattern and only took a few hours. So I’d put it on the easy side of the scale.
