Recipe: Golden Milk

Word on the street is turmeric is good for damn near everything.  Folks been drinkin’ it since forever and it’s good for boosting immunity, liver function, and supports digestion.  It may even protect from some types of cancer.  So when I saw this recipe I made it ASAP-tuously.

Ingredients:

1 tsp honey or maple syrup or, raw

1 pinch black pepper, ground

1 pinch cayenne pepper

1/2 tsp cinnamon, powder

1 tsp turmeric

2 cups milk (I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk)

A tiny piece of fresh (peeled ginger root or ¼ tsp ginger powder)

Combine with a whisk and drink up.  I personally like a warm drink in the morning so I poured mine into a sauce pan and heated it up.  It was flipping delish, AND good for me.
